A freshly imported product has zero reviews in your Shopify store, even if thousands of people have already bought it on AliExpress. Shoppers notice empty review sections, and many leave without buying because nobody else seems to have trusted the product. Copying reviews by hand is slow and error-prone, and separate review apps add yet another tool to install, configure, keep in sync and pay for every month.

Build the Drop imports the real buyer reviews of each AliExpress product you import: star rating, text, reviewer name, date and, on higher plans, customer photos. The reviews are saved on the Shopify product and shown by the Build the Drop theme block, which also adds a star rating summary. You choose in the block settings whether to show dates, photos, reviewer names and a filter by stars. Reviews are refreshed during product sync, and you can turn review updates off in the space settings.

Review import depends on your plan. The Free plan does not include reviews. Starter imports up to 20 reviews per product, without photos, which is enough to fill an empty product page with real ratings and comments. Pro and Business import every available review with no per-product limit, including the photos buyers attached to them on AliExpress, so visual products get the full social proof they already earned.
